Sr. Minister Jalen Barton
A Statement From Our Minister
Through my journey, I’ve come to understand that a discipled church is a dynamic church. A dynamic church is a thriving church, and a thriving church is a growing church. While numerical growth is important, it is the quality of that growth that truly matters. We must be intentional in allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us in all things, trusting that as we yield to His guidance, we will see the full potential of the church come to life in ways that align with God's vision.
God calls us to be intentional in every aspect of our worship, our love for one another, and our ministries, both inside and outside the church walls. My personal motto is “Don’t make members, make disciples.” To achieve this, greater intentionality is required in our teaching, preaching, the way we engage with people, how we handle church affairs, the conduct of leadership, and above all, how we love and serve others. We must create an environment where individuals are placed in positions where they can thrive and contribute to the Kingdom, while also providing the training and development they need to grow spiritually.
In all things, let us be committed to honoring God, embracing His guidance, and being faithful stewards of His church as we move forward together in faith.
